ET-20S consist of a copper tape coated on single side with an special ethylene copolymer color-coded green.

The coating forms a strong moisture-resistant bond to the copper substrate that will not delaminate from contact with the copper.

The coating also from strong polymeric bonds to zero halogen,polyethene and chlorinated polyethylene jacketing resins during the jacket extrusion process thereby allowing fabrica-tion of bonded jacket or laminate sheath,cables.

The products requirs a lot melt in the overlap to form the seal that provides a moisture/chemical barrier to the cables core.the copper is fully annealed which has high conductivity and easy fabrication characteristics.

ET-20S lamination tape mainly use as sheath for medium and high voltage power cables, or as the combination shield/moisture barrier over a wire or tape screen.
